Service Guide

School Colours has a wide range of effective and delivery options available to assist you in the distribution of your school uniform.

Each school decides how it wants their school uniform to be made available and delivered to families.

Having designed, manufactured and supplied the school uniform, our aim then is to provide you with a range of flexible options from which you can choose your best distribution method.

Our flexible customer service approach increasingly reflects a direct-to-customer approach.

Here are the channels currently used by schools.

School Colours Direct

The easiest and most effective method of delivery to families is via our online shop - School Colours Direct. Families order online and stock is despatched directly to them. No further involvement is necessary on the part of the school. We own and warehouse the stock. Free sizing sets are provided and delivery options can be tailored to the school's needs.

Complete Shop

A full school shop run by the school with all the benefits of convenience for the families. Stock is delivered to the school for onward sales. The school owns the stock but it can be delivered and invoiced at selected times throughout the season. The school sets their own prices and it can be an important revenue source for them.

Hybrid Online and School Shop

For schools that want an online service as well as keeping their own shop open. The stock is owned by School Colours but jointly shared by our School Colours Direct service and the school's own shop.

Serviced Shop for Schools

This is for schools who want a shop but who have limited space to store the stock. A small stock is kept in the school shop (or office) topped up by the main stock that is kept in our warehouse. The school owns the stock and we have bespoke software to allow the school to track movements.

Remote Shop Model

This is great for those schools that want to offer the uniform online for themselves but have no space to hold the stock. Pupil packs are distributed from our warehouse to the school from stock held in our warehouse. Orders can come from the schools own web shop in conjunction with their cashless provider. The school sets its own selling prices, and it can be an important revenue source.
